Call for Abstracts

We invite you to submit your abstracts for the ICBL 2025 conference. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission process.

Submission Platform:
All abstracts must be submitted through the Oxford Abstracts platform.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Uploading Your Abstract:

  1. Guidelines
    Please carefully read the abstract submission guidelines
  2. Visit the Submission Platform
    Navigate to the Oxford Abstracts website by clicking the “Submit Abstract” button below. If you already have an account, log in using your credentials. If not, click on “Register” to create a new account.
  3. Create a New Submission
    Once inside the ICBL 2025 submission portal please follow the instruction of the submission portal.
  4. Review Your Submission
    Carefully review all entered details to ensure accuracy and compliance with the submission guidelines.
  5. Submit Your Abstract
    Once you are satisfied with your submission, click “Submit.” You will receive a confirmation email shortly after submission. Please retain this email and your submission ID for your records.
  6. Track Your Submission
    You can log in to your account at any time to view the status of your submission or to make any edits before the submission deadline.

Guidelines

  • Your abstract will be published as submitted in the official book of abstracts of the conference.
  • When entering the data, please ensure that the name, address and e-mail address of the corresponding author (= author with user account) are entered completely and correctly, as all correspondence will be sent via the submitting author.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • The text must not contain more than 350 words/2,500 characters (incl. spaces, excl. abstract title).
  • Graphics, figures and tables are NOT allowed.
  • You can choose whether you prefer to present your paper as an oral or as a poster. The final decision about the presentation type is up to the scientific committee. The number of orals is limited.
  • You will be notified via e-mail if your abstract has been accepted. Instructions regarding presentation of posters and orals will be sent to the authors of accepted papers.
  • Please note that as a presenting author you must also register for the congress!
  • The submission of an abstract is not at the same time a registration for the congress.
